SOS Tartarugas works in Cape Verde protecting nesting loggerheads turtles (Caretta caretta) and their habitat. Cape Verde is the third most important nesting area for loggerheads in the world. Turtles are at risk from hunting for meat, stealing of eggs, removal of sand for building and unregulated tourism development. Our email is info@turtlesos.org.

A new association

Frangle is a German organisation that encourages travellers to help projects and organisations by volunteering or taking equipment or other donations with them.

As Frangle says "if you are taking a trip and have a little space in your backpack, you can support people in the country you are visiting while making new friends and experiencing the culture in a completely new way."

We are very happy to be featured on their website  SOS Tartarugas on Frangle
